It was kind of a crazy week in my classroom, but my wonderful Pierre friends and I have decided to do P90X Lean. It is a pretty intense work out, but it is really fun to do with people and we have a lot of accountability. There are 4 of us girls that meet in my classroom at 4:30 everyday to work out.
I felt a little homesick this week. I am jealous that my brother lives in Sioux Falls and my parents go to visit him all the time! I swear every time I call them on the weekend they are driving to or from Sioux Falls. I want my parents to come visit me on the weekends. I was very tempted to go home on Friday after school, but I really wanted to stay and go to Weight Watchers. I know that is really really nerdy, but I felt like I had been eating really healthy, and I was working out really hard, and I thought that I would see some results.
So, I woke up on Saturday morning nice and early, and knew something was off...
I woke up a little later than usual and I COULD NOT FIND MY WEIGH IN PANTS!!! I wear the exact same thing every week. I wear my Adidas swishy pants, VS cotton underwear, target sports bra, t-shirt, and my Under Armour zip-up. I searched high and low for my pants....then remembered that I had lent my Adidas pants to Bethany. Shootskies. I put on my Nike capris and my USF hoodie and went out the door.
So...here comes the moment of truth...I stepped on the scale and I was up 2 whole pounds! WHAT! My wonderful leader said you are wearing a sweatshirt, why don't you take that off and step on again. So, I followed her directions, and I was only up 1 pound. But, it was really really disappointing. My leader told me that sometimes you don't often see results for a week. So, hopefully next week will be better.
After the meeting we went to do P90X Yoga. Hmmmm... but then I might have stopped counting points for the rest of the day... and we made Popcorn Cake. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD.
The positive thing is my clothes are fitting much differently, and I have been receiving many comments on how I am looking thinner. 15 more lbs till goal. I CAN DO THIS!
