BIG NEWS!
This is one of my best friends in the whole wide world. Her name is Mrs. Molly Marie Lindgren.
This is us at her wedding in 2008.
She is one amazing woman of God, who has shown me what it looks like to be a mature wife. We met in college, and became friends. The kind of friends where you can do anything together and make it fun. She will tell you like it is. When you want an honest and true opinion you go to Molly. I LOVE that about her. It was fun for us because her boyfriend then/husband now and my brother are good friends and we got to go to football games together. She now lives in Watertown, which is about 2 hours from me. BOO! But, we do a good job of keeping up with each other. This spring she called to tell me that she was PREGO!!!!
This is us together this summer when we got to hang out! She is the one one the right. Don't be think I am the prego one...just my chubbyness...motivation to go on weight watchers... If you look closely Bubba is in there! He was nice enough to give me a good little kick that weekend. It sucks when you live in different towns as your besties, and you have to see all the changes on facebook. I became absolutely infatuated with Bubba during our 48 hours together!
Yesterday evening, I got the call that they were going to the hospital, and Bubba was going to be born that evening. He made his arrival at 5:29 and I got a call from Matt at 7:00 p.m. with a few more details. His name is Grady Matthew Lindgren! There was a slight confusion when I thought his name was Brady for a while but I LOVE, ABSOLUTELY LOVE the name Grady. So cute, so perfect! I was so excited when Miss Molly called last night to talk! She said labor went well, and the epidural was wonderful!
Grady Matthew, you are so lucky to have Molly as your Mommy. Matt is going to be the best dad, he is so proud of you already. You are loved by MANY, including ME!
Molly is one of the best friends I have, she fills my life with utter joy! Everyone needs a Molly in their life. The happiest and most exciting moments of my life have all been with Molly, and even about Molly. Her engagement, her wedding, and now she blesses us with Grady! I can not wait to meet you Grady! I will be there on Saturday!
Thank you Lord for giving me a friend like Molly. Thank you for blessing and encouraging Matt and Molly in their marriage. I give you all the praise for the excitement and joy I am feeling right now. Thank you so much for shining Your light and sacrificing so much for us so we can feel this joy. Please be with Grady as he grows, keep a watchful eye on him. Be with Matt and Molly as they raise Grady to believe in You!
