A little bit of a let down.

It was kind of a crazy week in my classroom, but my wonderful Pierre friends and I have decided to do P90X Lean. It is a pretty intense work out, but it is really fun to do with people and we have a lot of accountability. There are 4 of us girls that meet in my classroom at 4:30 everyday to work out. I felt a little homesick this week. I am jealous that my brother lives in Sioux Falls and my parents go to visit him all the time! I swear every time I call them on the weekend they are driving to or from Sioux Falls. I want my parents to come visit me on the weekends. I was very tempted to go home on Friday after school, but I really wanted to stay and go to Weight Watchers. I know that is really really nerdy, but I felt like I had been eating really healthy, and I was working out really hard, and I thought that I would see some results. Taking a moment to be thankful for the amazing friendships I have in my life. These are the friends that have helped shape me into the woman I am today. They are my girls that I can run to when I don't know what to do. I celebrate with them, I cry with them, and I just enjoy doing life with them. This is Kaia. She is Beautiful. She is someone you can run to errands with and just have a blast. We talk and connect doing the everyday things of the world. She is the best person to go for a walk with and is great at motivating you. She also can keep you entertained with a story during a long run ( I am talking 10 miles). This is Erin. She keeps me up to date. She is my friend that just knows everything. If I need the answer to an obscure pop culture question she is my girl. If I need advice on medical options, she is my girl. a little place I call home.

There is a little place, in a little town, that has a BIG piece of my heart. Home. Nothing can compare. I love my home, especially at Christmas, with our tree in the window. It is VERY fake, I have never known or smelled a real tree. Fake trees are what make my heart smile. We have a beautiful Santa rug that comes out, the Christmas dishes, the stockings hung by the fireplace. All of our presents wrapped in the same roll of paper under the tree. These are the things that my home so special at Christmas. Then of course there is this precious face to come home to... She is laying by the stairs right now snoring so loud you think she would wake herself up. Well folks, Christmas Break is officially upon us. Time to relax, enjoy the people around us.
